*In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful* "
The commencement of the new academic year presents a profound opportunity to renew our commitment to the future and to strive toward a more enlightened and developed city.
Education is the fundamental pillar of sustainable development and urban excellence. Undoubtedly, educated and conscious citizens constitute the bedrock of a modern, flourishing city where culture, science, and civilization converge.
In this regard, the urban management team, in coordination with all relevant institutions, remains steadfast in its duty to provide optimal environments, enhance urban infrastructure surrounding educational centers, and support our students. While offering my heartfelt condolences and commemorating the memory of the 168 students from Minab, who were victims of the heinous atrocities committed by the global aggressor, the United States,
I extend my warmest congratulations on the start of the new academic year. I hope this year will be filled with success, dignity, and progress for all our dear students, marking a season of intellectual blooming and scientific triumph." Hojatollah Dehdashti *Mayor of the Metropolis of Ahvaz*
