The Mayor of Ahvaz, in a meeting with deputies, directors of the eight districts, and headquarters managers, emphasized the serious pursuit of outstanding claims from debtor organizations. According to the Ahvaz Municipality’s official news portal, Mayor Hojjatollah Dehdashti highlighted the necessity of accurately identifying and documenting the municipality’s claims against debtor entities, stating: "We must act to collect these debts through greater synergy and coordination among municipal managers." Stating that the municipality is responsible for maintaining the city, he added: "Collecting these very debts would enable the implementation of numerous projects for the benefit of our citizens." In another part of his remarks, the Mayor of Ahvaz referred to meteorological warnings regarding rainfall in the month of Mehr (early autumn) and asserted: "Directors of the eight municipal districts must regularly address all matters related to the management of surface water drainage and diversion." *
