The Mayor of Ahvaz has announced the commencement of joint meetings between the provincial "Headquarters for Promoting Virtue and Preventing Vice" and the municipality's eight districts and various organizations. According to the Ahvaz Municipality Information Portal, Mayor Hojjatollah Dehdashti announced the news, stating that the Ahvaz Municipality welcomes the initiative of holding joint sessions with the Headquarters, aimed at fostering synergy and leveraging the expertise of the organization. Hojjatollah Dehdashti added, "Given that the objectives of the Municipality and the Headquarters align in many areas, both entities can collaborate to implement numerous initiatives that benefit the city and its citizens." The Mayor of Ahvaz noted that many of the services currently being delivered across the city are the result of tireless efforts by municipal staff, often performed without public recognition. He emphasized, "Despite financial constraints, the Municipality is planning and executing new programs. Notably, the asphalt paving of various districts is currently proceeding rapidly on a 24-hour basis." During the meeting, Shahriari, the Secretary of the Headquarters for Promoting Virtue and Preventing Vice, expressed his appreciation for the multifaceted activities of the Ahvaz Municipality. He stated, "Based on our assessments, the Headquarters has proposals for the various organizations and the eight municipal districts. We believe that by holding these joint consultative sessions, we can provide significant assistance to the municipal organization
