The ceremony of the first phase of the Karon revival project was held

According to the Ahvaz Municipality information base, on the morning of October 25, the groundbreaking ceremony and the start of the Karun beach revitalization project worth 1,000 billion Rials were held in the presence of Shahwarpour, the Commander of Hazrat Waliasr Corps, Ahvaz Mayor Amini, and a group of managers and officials of the municipality.

Parviz Hosseini, deputy technical and civil engineer of the municipality, gave explanations about the project. Stating that the municipality has put design and planning for the revitalization of the eastern and western beaches on the agenda, he said: Today, the first phase of the project with an area of 15 hectares will be started.

With the completion of the project, about 8 hectares will be added to the total green space of the city. Also, 4 hectares of roads and traffic space will be created in the form of parking, walking path and bicycle path.

It should be mentioned that sports fields with different uses in various disciplines and mother and child rooms have also been seen in this project.
